Full description
A beautiful butterfly necklace with an interesting story. Thames Mudlark Nicola White (Tideline art) found a Victorian copper butterfly brooch. We made a mould from it and then using fine silver clay, found 18ct and 24ct gold, and a Thames garnet we made a lovely necklace for Nicola which she wears often. Nicola has given permission for me to use her mould to make more of these lovely symbols of transformation. The butterfly measures 35mm from wingtip to wingtip and 25mm in height. The complete necklace measures 18inches long and has a sterling silver chain and bolt ring.
