Full description
This unusual pendant has been completely handmade from copper wire. I've used thick wire to form the teardrop shaped frame of the pendant, with the ends curled in & hammered flat to create a spiral shape. Finer wires have been woven inside the frame, with the ends forming a criss-crossed detail in the top half of the pendant. It's a distinctive design that would be perfect for someone who likes their jewellery a little bit different!
The finished pendant has been oxidised to bring out the lovely antiqued copper colour, & then lightly polished to highlight the hammered copper sections & the detail in the weave. It comes with a 2mm thick waxed black cotton cord, complete with handmade fastenings. The cord length is approx. 40cm but I can supply a different length if required - please let me know your preferred length via the 'choose options' button.
The pendant itself measures just over 4cm long & 2cm across at the widest point. It will be posted out first class, in a 100% recycled (& reusable!) gift box, within a recycled polythene bag.
