There is something very familiar and homely about patchwork, and I have used the concept of patches of pretty cotton fabric to make this little piece of miniature textile art. The squares are all cut by hand and stitched into place with tiny stitches. I have added a tiny white heart in the centre. Everything stitched into place by hand with tiny stitches.

Full description
This small intricately stitched 'quilt' is made from vintage cottons, with the charm and subtle colours only age can bestow! The plain squares are cut from my own hand-dyed cotton with an applique heart in the centre, which together with three tiny vintage mother of pearl buttons completes the design.
The work is hand-stitched throughout with attention to detail, framed in a lightly distressed whitened wood frame measuring 7" (18cm) square; the embroidery will arrive with glass in place, corded, with my studio stamp on the back, all ready to hang up. Although I do repeat my designs from time to time every piece of my work is unique. The mount carries the title 'A Little Quilt' and is signed.
I always pack my embroideries with great care so you can be sure it will arrive in perfect condition. You will only pay one delivery charge of £5.50 (1st Class Royal Mail) no matter how many framed items are in your basket. (All cards are post free)
