This is the last piece of a lovely old hallmarked cigarette case which was a bit battered and at the end of its use. I love the way the pattern looks like ammonites.
At Silver redesigned I use recycled silver wherever possible to reduce the amount of silver being taken out of the ground in poor conditions for the workers and the environment.

Full description
This heart shaped silver necklace is made from a 1916 Birmingham Art Nouveau type cigarette case. It was saw pierced, filed and polished. It is attached to a silver (925) chain, the whole length including the heart is 17.4 inches long. The heart is 4.5cm X 3.5cms.
