Lockdown has been a testing time for lots of us and one evening I was having a bit of a sad moment thinking about what lies ahead and how much worse would the pandemic get...so I did two paintings in this style; this painting is what I imagine walking through Warleigh would be like at night...peaceful and unassuming, with most tucked up in bed with seemingly nothing wrong.
But underneath this tranquil scene lies the uncertainty and tragedy of the foreseeable future...
