What can I say?!
I just love butterflies. I love seeing them in the summer. They flit about the garden, dancing from flower to grass, stopping briefly to rest on a sheet hung on the washing line, before they fly off to visit another garden. Many old cultures, and I think particularly of the North American Indian traditions, believe that the butterfly signifies or represents Transformation. If a butterfly should spend time dancing around me in my 'space', I take it as a sign that some transformation is coming to me.
I also like to think of a butterfly as evidence that we can all reach our true potential, if we just let it happen and don't fight it. Afterall, a Butterfly is a Caterpillar who has done just that.
