Full description
When several barges were moored for the night padlocks and chains were used to keep them securely attached to the bouy and each other. I remember seeing this swag of chains on the river when I was a child and have recreated it as a sterling silver chain bracelet. The chain can be fastened anywhere along its length and the excess chain has a bolt ring so it can be fastened across and act as a safety. There are 2 maximum lengths to choose from. 9 and a half inches or 10 and a half inches. The main clasp is a swivel trigger clasp. The whole bracelet is sterling silver with a little gold dust added to the padlock.
