Item details

This pendant has a design of cow parsley stamped into the wet clay, and a background of soft blue and turquoise. As with all my jewellery it is made and decorated entirely by hand.

After forming the pendant from fine white clay, I imprinted the design. When dry, I sanded the sides and back and rounded off the edges to ensure they are super smooth to the touch. It then had its first firing. Next I painted it using under-glazes and applied a transparent glaze before firing again to earthenware. The ceramic is glazed on the front, back and sides so is very smooth whilst retaining the texture of the imprinted design. The result is a pleasantly tactile item.

This is a one-off listing, the pendant in the photographs is the actual one you will receive.

The pendant is about 30mm (just over 1”) across.

All my jewellery comes in a hand-stamped box.

The chain shown is silver plated and 18" long with a lobster clasp. I can put the pendant onto a different length chain, as listed in the options. If you have any other requirements, such as metal-free, or a different clasp, message me and I'll let you know what I can do.
