Welcome to Rudy & the Rowan Tree - home to my experiments in wood, pattern and colour.
Handcrafted and made (very) slow in Scotland.
One day whilst tidying my workroom I found some plywood tablets leftover from a previous project which I had forgotten about, and since I love experimenting with colour combinations, pattern and shapes, I decided to make a few one-off prints! They are very much inkeeping with my little houses and necklaces in spirit, being quite free and unplanned, producing a completely unique effect.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

This colourful, one of a kind abstract wooden picture has been individually screenprinted by hand onto a 7" birch ply tablet. I've layered some of my favourite colour combinations to create a unique print, with some areas left blank to show off the lovely grain of the wood.
The wood I use to print on is high quality birch ply, with the wooden square measuring approx 7 inches. It is float mounted inside a painted pale grey box frame which measures approx 9.5 inches (24cm).
Please note the colours on this piece are slightly warmer than pictured (ie the navy blue in the bottom right corner is more of a teal).
