A beautiful shape piece of sea glass in a light blue green ( sea foam colour) This piece of sea glass was found on the shore in North Devon after a night of strong winds and a big tide, tucked away next to a large group of rocks. It has then been very carefully drilled from side to side to create a long wire wound link penant attached to a Stirling silver belcher chain. The total in length including the pendant is 18 inch (45.5 cm) the matching earrings are made from semi precious light blue howite beads and little moonstone beads on Stirling silver earwires, the moonstones reflect lovely blue/lilac shades of colours when they catch the light, the necklace and earrings either worn together or separately have a lovely summer time beach feel.

My love for hand crafting jewellery started when we lived in Australia for 10 years, when we came back home to Devon I was walking along the beach when I found my first little piece of sea glass frosted and beautifully smooth from many years Tumbling in the ocean, I was hooked. Now after a big tide with crashing waves, I go down hoping to find some of those beautiful frosted little ocean gems, each one with its own beautiful appearance and ocean journey over many years that will never be truly known. In this set I have made the little moonstones in the earings remind me of opals we saw in Australia.
