Full description
30 Strawflower heads (Picked September 2020), grown in my garden in North Wales. The flower-heads are not wired and measure from 3 to 5cm across. The flowers for sale in this listing will be similar to those shown in the main photograph.
These are in shades of pink and creamy/white
The strawflowers will keep their colour for months, if not years, and will continue to open even though picked. They open more slowly if kept out of sunlight. Their papery feel is exactly as when growing on the plants.
The flower-heads can be lacquered (hair spray or hobby lacquer) to prevent opening further once they have reached the desired opening and should then, of course, be kept away from naked flames.
