A lab gemstone is a stone 'grown' in a lab rather than the earth. They have the same geological makeup as genuine stones but none of the faults. This means they have amazing clarity and colour, but at a much lower price point than the authentic stones.

Full description
A sparkly Lab Blue Opal set by hand onto a band of Sterling Silver. The ring is simple in design to show off the beauty of the gemstone and has a zig-zag feature where the stone meets the silver. The ring features October's birthstone, Opal and is a simple and modern birthstone ring that can be stacked with any ring from my collection. The band is a fully round profile measuring 1.5mm, which perfectly balances the 5mm sized gemstone.
