Coming up with designs that use up as many fabric scraps as possible is a challenge that I really enjoy. Even the smallest pieces can be put to good use, as with these earrings.This linen came from one of many fabric swatch books that were going to landfill.

Full description
These gorgeous environmentally friendly earrings are made from recycled scraps of duck egg linen fabric with sterling silver ear wires and a silver plated crimp.
The little bees are hand embroidered in lovely yellow and black. They are finished with teeny white wings and running stitch edging.
They are not only light and comfortable to wear but they are also ever so stylish and are helping to reduce waste so you can look good and feel good at the same time.
Have you seen the matching brooch in my shop? They are also available in khaki.
They measure 1.2 cm wide by 5 cm long (6.5 cm including the wire).
As with all my shop items, postage is free in the UK and they will be sent out Royal Mail first class.
Please note that all my earrings are hand embroidered and will therefore all be slightly different.
