Having lots of small pieces of fabrics this vintage style quilt was an excellent design to use those fabrics.

Price Reduction. Sale. A multi-patterned scrappy patchwork quilt. This is a fabulous colourful creation.
All the fabrics are cotton. Blue spotted fabric begins the centre panel but as I move out I have added more and more different fabrics. The quilt is mainly a four patch design with cream squares as background. Think of granny using up outgrown dresses etc., the vintage look of those quilts is my inspiration here. The quilting pattern enhances the vintage look. The backing is a bright floral cotton and the inner wadding is also cotton, giving a lightweight but warm feel.
This would be an ideal gift for a student leaving home for the first time.
Measuring 45" square (114 cms) approx. this colourful quilt could be used as a bed throw, a toddler bed quilt, a play mat, snuggle quilt or settee cover. So many uses for this lovely quilt. Given as a gift a handmade item will be treasured.
