We had reached Ahrwieler, a rural, historic town in the Rhineland, the last stop on our tour of Germany. I drew this view using InkTense pencils while out for a walk to record the glorious autumn colours in the vineyards.

This semi-abstract sketch is in crayon on a Seawhite watercolour paper post card. It is A6 in size: 148 x 105 mm and is presented in a window mount. It is protected in a clear cello bag.
