We love wood and especially burr, its the history of the woodlands and the age of trees that excite us. Burr is grown on the ancient tree and can be stunning in its natural form, with a little sanding and waxing, this burr turns out like glass, its really beautiful, well we think so!

Full description
Wooden drinks coasters. Made from Elm burr wood, very chic and stylish. We have used some really beautiful burr from an old fallen Elm tree that was destroyed in a storm, as the tree was so old, the quality of burr is exceptional, so we used some for some practical coasters. This set of 4 has lovely natural markings and spalting all though the coasters. We have left them very natural and rustic, the burr cracks have been left open on these coasters to highlight the natural burr. The coasters have only been oiled and waxed and remain rustic although they are like glass to touch and have a luxurious feel to them. They would make a special gift.
80mm x80mm x 9 mm thick all sizes are approx.
Please note these coasters have not been machined. They are hand carved and are completely unique in sizes and finish. They are rustic and very natural
