The stone pattern is the oldest of the marbling patterns, examples exist dating back to at least the mid 15th century in Turkey.
The non pareil pattern means without equal in French and has been one of the most popular patterns for many centuries. See in 17th century Indian literature, it was widely used in Europe for the sides and end papers of books in the 19th century.

Sea green and burnt orange non pareil sits with dusty lilac veins which are like webbing and lacing on this A4 hand marbled paper sheet.
There is a bubble track towards the bottom of the sheet, and a bubble mark towards the bottom left.
Marbled onto 135gsm FSC black base paper (please see my about section for more details on the papers). The sheet is a4, 207mm x 295mm, short grain.
This beautiful sheet is a one of a kind piece suitable for using in bookbinding, covering boxes and other items, die cutting, origami, journaling, scrapbooking, card making and any other paper crafts you can think of!
Every one of the sheets I sell are created by me from start to finish and are one of a kind.
It will be sent flat in a card backed envelope.
Although I have strived for colour accuracy, please be aware that there may be colour differences due to the way monitors display colours.
