As part of my yoga studies I did a course on the chakras, which I found fascinating. As someone who regularly uses semi-precious stones in jewellery-making, I was really interested in the association of these stones, crystals and colours with the chakras. This inspired me to make some chakra-related jewellery, including this necklace.

Full description
I have attached these pretty pale golden yellow citrine nuggets to a handmade sterling silver ring so that the citrine hangs freely within a larger handmade hammered sterling silver ring. There is also a little piece of clear quartz for a bit of subtle sparkle. I like the combination of the soft shine of the silver with the translucent glow of the citrine.
For anyone interested in chakras and yoga, citrine relates to the Manipura chakra (self-esteem, will, assertiveness, energy).
The simple classic snake chain is also sterling silver. Since the pendant is not attached to the chain you can just slide it off and hang it from a choker, a ribbon, a cord … so a necklace you can vary as much as you like!
Measurements are as follows:
The length of necklace chain is 51 cm (20 inches), including the clasp.
The outer diameter of the largest hanging silver ring is 3 cm (1.25 inch).
The largest citrine measures 1.5 cm (0.55 inches) by 1.3 cm (0.5 inch).
