Full description
A cat's head, eyes closed in a sleepy blink, hand-carved from a small block of plaster of Paris, then painted in yellow and orange acrylic, coated with a water-based varnish, and finally a layer of yacht varnish. There's a saw tooth picture hanger fitted at the back so the carving can be hung on a nail or a hook. The varnish means it can be hung out of doors if required. Like all Tom Bloor's carvings, this is a unique, one-off piece. SIze: 8 c.m. x 7 c.m. (2 c.m. deep) approx.
