My work is inspired by the wildlife I've seen on walks along the North Norfolk and Northumbrian coastlines. I've seen these birds strutting along the beach or hovering around rockpools looking for food. I can't tell you how many times I've edged as close as I dare to get a better picture of them with my camera.
Oystercatchers are iconic shoreline birds that haunt coastlines around Britain. Their beautiful plumage and orange legs stand out against the subtle shoreline colours that are forever changing.
