I love trawling through second-hand shops for things to customise, paint and carve – it's flat surfaces that I'm looking for! I found this old briefcase, discarded and unloved, so thought I would give it a second lease of life.

Full description
This vintage briefcase with 'WANDER' painted on it makes a beautiful curio for the travellers, the adventurers and all those with wanderlust. It's hand-painted with enamels using traditional signwriting techniques. This briefcase's days of carrying documents are over but it makes a perfect decoration or wall hanging. 36x27x7cm
