Full description
In December Elf likes to sit and quietly and watch! Sometimes he might peak out from behind the books or hang from a rail. He is always looking out for someone, child or adult, doing a good deed.
His internal wire frame makes him very bendy but means he is not suitable for children to play with.
Aran yarn makes it is quick to knit and made in one piece except for the hat to minimise sewing up.
If you wish to make a children’s toy do not use pipe cleaners.
You will need:
50gm Aran weight yarn in Red or Green
20gm Flesh
20gm Aran weight in cream or white
1 meter brown yarn for hair
1/2 meter deep pink thread/yarn for mouth
1/2 meter dark blue thread/yarn for eyes
Waste yarn to bind pipe cleaners
8-10 pipe cleaners
High loft toy stuffing
1 pair 3.50 needles (This is smaller than the recommended size for Aran yarn to prevent the stuffing showing)
1 large darning needle
2 stitch holders (or waste yarn)
