Full description
I looked up the recipe for a red cocktail like the one in this glass - a Cranberry Margarita. Tequila, Cranberry and Triple Sec. Mmmm (please consume responsibly). It will make a great gift for any cocktail lover.
The plaque is made from a 10 x 10 cm of white glass onto which the glass outline has been laid out using thin glass rods (stringers). The cocktail is made from small red granules of glass, and it's all topped off with a glass bead 'olive'. A session in the kiln fuses everything together but retains a 3D texture to the piece. The plaque is mounted on a multi-coloured background within a black frame that is approximately 19cm square and 3.5 cm deep.
This unique piece of glass art will hang on a wall or will stand on a mantlepiece or window ledge.
All of our Fused Glass Goodies are hand-made at our home studio in Shropshire.
