Full description
Here's one for the mechanic or engineer. A wooden nut and bolt jump drive, memory stick, thumb drive, or whatever else they're called. It's handmade from a lovely piece of laburnum.
It houses a 1GB memory and measures about 3" (75mm) long.
The 'threaded' portion of the bolt is about 3/4" (18mm) diameter and it's about 1 1/4" (30mm) across the flats of the bolt head. This is the first one I have done like this (the idea came to me during the night for some reason), and I'm really delighted with how it looks and feels.
