Coasters are very useful, and are in use daily, so I thought I would get on and do some, then thought it would be a good idea to make something to store them, when not in use.
It wasn't as easy as I had thought, but they turned out well, and I will be making more sets in the future.

Full description
This is a set of six coasters with a 'box' to hold them in
The coasters are made from local yew wood, approx. 4" - 10cm diameter with a black felt base.
The 'box' is turned from wood of the monkey puzzle tree, with mellow colour and nice wavy grain. An unique set of coasters that would look good on any dining table.
The lid has a small yew finial.
