This is truly a Thames butterfly as the original brooch was found by Nicola White (Tideline art) and the Garnet was collected from the foreshore by Simon Bourne (Si-finds)

Full description
Mudlark Nicola White found a Victorian Copper butterfly brooch on the Thames foreshore. We made an impression of it and recreated It in Silver. Where the original brooch had corrosion I added 24ct gold to make a feature of it instead of trying to hide the ravages of time and tide. The butterfly has 18ct gold discs added to the wings and a sterling Belcher chain. This butterfly measures 34mm from wingtip to wingtip and 25mm tall. It has a Thames garnet set onto it's back. The necklace will be customised to your specified length of either 16, 18, or 20 inches. Please choose length via Options.
