This unique clock cut in an unusual shape from a solid piece of oak,has an enchanted quirky appearance. It is painted in a blue colour and decorated with polymer clay flowers.

It has a silver metal face and a fascinating skeleton clock movement. The clear front allows you to watch the inner workings of the clock in real time. The chapter ring and the decorative hands display the hours and minutes, whilst beneath is a second dial displaying the seconds.

An accurate Quartz movement drives the exposed inner workings to make an attractive and interesting clock.

Fred carved a quirky shape from a solid piece of oak. He said it looked like a walking clock from a cartoon film. So we had the idea of putting an interesting clock in the shape. I wanted to paint it and make it look pretty.

I like to make polymer cane flowers and leaves but never can find a use for them, so I thoroughly enjoyed decorating the clock.

I do hope it appeals to others as I love it.
