Balmoral.

Signed, stamped, hand titled, open edition, mounted print of original illustration by Mark McPhelim.

Part of my illustrated series of the four original magnificent Fred.Olsen fleet of cruise ships. Black Watch, Boudicca, Braemar and Balmoral.

Balmoral was built in 1988, measures 715ft in length and has a capacity of 1325 passengers.

I’ve travelled with Fred.Olsen many times and I love the ship’s timeless aspect and sense of tradition. This linotype style of illustration uses a multitude of individually created horizontal lines representing an ageless portrayal to this great liner and captures the ship's smooth and calm navigation of the oceans. Completed throughout in Fred.Olsen’s distinctive and vibrant corporate blue with the added touch of pillar box red on the key line and funnel.

I hope my illustration provides a lasting tribute to this beautiful ship and as a reminder to some unforgettable places, people, experiences and memories.

Pre-mounted, board-backed and within a sealed, transparent protective sleeve.
