Felicity is an Architectural Designer who loves the vernacular buildings in the countryside around her. When provided with a small, newly-felled tree trunk (which would otherwise have been left to decay as part of necessary land management work) she hauled it back to her cabin and set to work preparing the timber for some useful purpose. What she was left with, after removing bark and softwood, was a key fob sized opportunity to indulge in her passion for drawing-up beloved structures. Then, after the carving and smoothing, she devoted rainy days (when it was too wet to be outdoors painting a smart weather-proof coat on the real thing) to provide a bright painterly finish that turns each little piece of discarded tree into a unique, miniature folk artwork.
