I had the idea of making windmills as a result of having some triangle left after cutting out something else and they happened to make a windmill.
They add a lovely splash of colour to your plant pot and do look rather pretty in a pot either singularly or In a group of two or three.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, foiled and soldered together, a length of tinned twisted wire has been attached which can be cut if you want.
Whilst these can go in the garden I would recommend taking them in during the winter when the weather is cold and wet as this may effect the foil.
The windmill head measures 12 cms in diameter and the stalk measures 26cms. The overall length is 38cms.
The glass used for this windmill is a mix of green wissmach, red wissmach, turquoise wissmach and indigo corella glass.
