I developed this idea from my love of botanical inspired jewellery. I love the way the leaf appears like a precious fossil set into the clay - turning a humble piece of nature into something sparkly, unique and decorative.

Teal trapezoid earrings with copper leaf, Fern leaf imprint dangles, Art Deco style, Statement earrings, Contemporary jewellery

These striking trapezoid shaped earrings are hand made using teal polymer clay with a real fern leaf imprinted on to the surface. They are part of my collection of Botanic metallics. They have then been carefully gilded with copper leaf and finished with a rose gold plated jump ring and silver plated stud.
These earrings are created and finished entirely by hand and there may be small imperfections present which express their unique and hand crafted character.
