Item details

This brooch has been crocheted from a luxury wool and silk mix yarn in two layers. In the centre is a singleton button which is a traditional fabric fastening stitched over a metal ring. I found the perfect scrap of fabric to bring out the colours of the yarn.
Each brooch I make develops it's own character and this is an understated, classy brooch. Perfect for someone who appreciates quality and doesn't go for too much bling.

My attic work room is full of treasure and sometimes I need to go on a hunt to rediscover what has become buried. This ball of fabulous yarn was one such gem. The colour changes frequently through the ball and I settled down to crochet some flowers. I love seeing what comes from these forays into the wool boxes.
