I had a stash of single use handwarmers that I used on cold mornings to keep me warm at the train station. I was moving towards reducing my reliance on single use items, so when these ran out I made my own using my favourite material filled with rice.
They now get a quick blast in the microwave before I leave and stay warm while i'm on my journey to work.

Made from cotton and filled with rice - non scented.
Place in a microwave for 30 seconds on medium heat.
