This piece, despite its minimalist styling, holds a medeival fantasy element with the pointed claws setting a blood red cabochon. This ring seeks to bring together two opposing forces in one design: one of sleek and modern design and another of drama and fantasy.

Packaging

The boxes we use are 100% recycled card and recyclable and the stamp used is sourced from a carbon positive initiative. The boxes are also made and delivered to us flat packed from a UK based company reducing the Co2 emissions.

The postage padded envelopes are biodegradable and we have in place a tree planting partnership with Just One Tree to not only offset but counteract the pollution of delivery. We also aim to deliver only within the UK to prevent Co2 emissions from air freight.

I have always had an affinity with fantasy and the interesting gothic elements that appear in many facets of the genre. I wanted to create a piece that while being stylish and modern could also hold a certain suggestion of fantasy about it and so I used a garnet cabochon and claw like prongs to do this.
