I was looking at photos of my child hood. A lot of the wildlife came into memory, but the hummingbirds stood out more than the others.
This piece is made from those memories.
Made entirely from silver-plated cutlery this piece stands approx 26cms tall and approx 20cm wide.
The extended tail feathers are supported by a brass which gives movement when the piece is moved.
This sunning piece was supposed to go to a gallery, covid 19 arrived instead
