Extra Long Rustic Design Walnut, Cherry and Chestnut Chopping Board Serving Tray Tear 'n' Share

The board is approximately 23cm depth x 51cm width x 2.5cm height.

This board is hand made, hand sanded, hand oiled and polished. The board is made of 100% hardwood, Chestnut, Walnut and Cherry.

All the wood I use for any of my projects is either upscaled, recycled or sourced from a reputable supplier, meaning, in general very well seasoned buy may have marks of being an aged natural product. The pictures show that actual board and I can upload more if you wish.

I love working with hardwood, each has their own characteristics so I wanted to create some boards, this being the fourth style and last in the series, that combined three of my favourite woods. If I'm honest I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out until I applied the oil - then colours and the grain just popped out.

Unlike my other boards this is just a simple chopping bread board, with no inlets but, these are extra long. I don't personally eat a lot of bread, but when I do I like a fresh Tiger Loaf which is very long. With that in mind these last two boards were created. Of course it's not just bread that can horizontally challenge your standard boards, but foods like Salmon, or a bunch of fresh greens form the garden....

note - just the one side has Walnut.
