This is a digital print of my original watercolour painting”Bee and Geranium”, which I painted in 2019.

It's printed on a giclee machine, so the colour reproduction is perfect and every detail is captured. Printed on heavy watercolur paper with a slight texture and presented in a mount with a stiff backing, the print is archival and will last 100 years, probably longer.

This image is A4 size and the mount is A3, which is 42cm X 29.7 cm. These are standard sizes so it will be easy to frame. It's in landscape orientation, so it's wider than it's tall.

There's a great big bed of geraniums near my work in Bradford, and last year it was covered in red-tailed bumblebees. I was fascinated not only by the bees, which were everywhere, but by the layers and layers of geranium leaves and the beautiful purple of the flowers.
