Item details

This is printed from 2 blocks of plywood, each 95mm x 147mm. The first block is inked in an apple green colour and the second block is inked in black, showing details of a person curled up inside the head of another person.

The paper size is 150mm x 210mm (approx A5). The frame shown is NOT included.

I have used oil-based ink and the paper is 'Flat white' by Artway who recycle coffee cups to make their 170gsm acid-free cartridge paper.

The print is signed and dated in pencil. It is supplied unmounted.

It will be posted in a sturdy cardboard envelope. (Please note that wherever possible, I recycle or reuse packaging, so although it may not be pretty, it will protect your print. If you want this sent as a gift, please leave me a message and I'll send my prettiest envelope)

30% of all sales will be donated to Brighton Women's Centre to help them through this tough time. They do amazing work offering hands on support and therapy to women and families here in my local city, Brighton, where we have one of the largest populations of homeless in the country.

I originally did this print for a competition run by Grassroots suicide prevention. I won it too which was a real boost for me.
Some people see this as an image of depression or loneliness but I thought it was more about mindfulness but it doesn't matter really does it?
I tried several variations of green, and also a version with coloured paper instead of the green block, but this is my favourite.
