This print is inspired by the blossom on an apple tree in our garden which brings us an abundance of tasty apples every year! This print turned out differently to how I imagined at the start of the design process! The best thing about creating a print is when you complete your final layer and it looks great - unfortunately I didn't get that buzz until I experimented with adding a gold metallic layer over the base layer. It adds a luxury feel to the print and as the gold glistens in the light it feels a lot more spring like.
