I was inspired to make this jar because i love Sparrows. When I am in the kitchen pottering - I will always here them squabbling and playing in the trees and bushes that surround my garden. They are such lovely and cheeky birds and i felt that this illustration will caught their character.

A unique tea coffee sugar sparrow mason jar, great for all those who love seeing these common garden birds flying around through the spring and summer months.
This lovely neutral styled mason jar is a practical addition to any style of kitchen. These have many uses and can even be used as preserve jars - is has a metal screw to lid with a removable centre that is perfect for your homemade goodies. Other uses include, sweet jar, biscuit barrel, an unusual vase and even a utensil holder.
This product was hand decorated by me by first, painting the entire jar white, i then add the image of the gorgeous illustrated sparrow couple using my own decoupage technique, I am careful to press into the detailed 3D logo to give it an extra special effect. I varnish the whole jar - apart from the lid - so it can take the everyday living of kitchen life. To finish, i have added a couple of strands of natural jute string and matching bow to give it a lovey country rustic look.
Not suitable for outdoors. Do not submerge in water, wipe clean only.
