I love starlings, especially when they're in groups sitting on the telephone wires. They are very beautiful with their iridescent feathers standing out against the dark brown when seen from the right angle. I was watching one from about 6 feet away only the other day and was amazed by their colour and markings, the little birds I have made are a work in progress, evolving slightly with each one I make. The more I observe the real thing, hopefully the better they will get.

Full description
Little wooden hanging starling decoration. I love every part of the process from cutting out to the final coat of varnish. Although my favourite part is painting with acrylic inks and adding the detail to try and give each little bird it's own character.
Each bird is slightly different.
They each measure approximately 10cm in length x 4cm wide. They are painted on both sides.
