Full description
I have been making feather suncatchers for some time but was doodling to see if I could change the pattern and this was the end result. I quite like it so I hope you do too.
This suncatcher has been made by hand and is truly unique.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, foiled and soldered together before being washed and polished. Twisted wire has been used to make the quill and to form the hanger.
The glass used in this suncatcher is red streaky wissmach glass, amber florentine glass, amber textured glass and white streaky sea glass.
The Suncatcher measures 20cms x 9cms excluding the wire hanger and 28cms long including the hanger.
This will look lovely in any window or could even be hung outside in a sheltered position.
