My love of making jewellery with sand and discovering the different qualities and beauty each beach has in turn has inspired me to "play around" with it and to be a bit more creative ...this piece I love .. partly because I love mermaids !
Each piece of sand jewellery has been pictured together with the original sand from that beach giving you an idea of the composition...texture and colour

This is a unique handmade pendant necklace made with sand from Fistral beach in Newquay Cornwall......Fistral beach being well known and a popular surfing beach ....The sand is set and protected in a 25mm x18mm pendant ..together with a mermaid charm ...the pendant has also been handpainted and attached to a silver plated chain which is 18ins long and has a 2 ins extender chain so can be adjusted to a slightly longer length ...this is a very pretty and unusual piece of jewellery
My sand jewellery has been waterproof tested and this piece although protected as are my other sand jewellery pieces because it has been hand painted I would suggest not getting it submerged in water for too long
It will be presented on a decorative gift card and forwarded to you in a pretty organza gift bag
