Description

Leaf shaped tealight holder. I made this tealight holder starting with a leaf I found walking the dog, which I made into a template. I cut the leaf out of 0.5mm thick sheet copper using a jeweller's saw and polished it. I added veins by hammering binding wire onto the copper and then shaped the leaf so that it is slightly bowl shaped. The final step was the coat the leaf in lacquer and then wax to help to protect it from aging too quickly. It's about 13cm wide, 11cm long and 3cm high and holds a standard sized tealight.

Please contact me if you have a specific leaf shape you'd like making into a tealight holder.

I generally post UK 2nd class

Thank you for looking at my listing.

Inspiration

I had a picture in my head about a leaf made from copper and shaped into a tealight holder so when I found a good leaf to use as a template I set about developing the idea
