This image was taken along the River Thames at Cheese Wharf near Lechlade in Gloucestershire. The place has this name because in olden days, cheeses from all over Gloucestershire were brought here to be loaded onto barges and taken along the Thames to be sold in London.
The morning was calm and misty and as the golden sun tried to break through the mist, a swan swam slowly past, adding to the sense of peace and tranquility.
