I wanted to create a collection for 2020 that was both organic and brutalist. It had to come from brutality but show signs of nature. What came to me was casting the left over scrap silver from the 2019 collections into an natural material to create an organic form. After much experimenting I settled on spaghetti as the casting medium.

Made from pieces of spaghetti-cast sterling silver that have been combined and soldered togther to form a mount for the 45.3ct of Mara Mamba (Australian Tiger Eye).
Marra Mamba is extremely old, forming when the Earth was very young and had little to no oxygen in its atmosphere. The most prized of all Tiger Eye. A stone of health and well-being and psychic protector. Great for business and an aid to achieving clarity.
