I think it is lovely to put seasonal decorations around your home and this inspired me to make some for Easter. I love hand embroidery, for me it represents a slower pace of life as it takes a lot of time and care to do and so I thought an embroidered egg would be perfect. I wanted to create some timeless designs so that the decorations could be treasured by families for generations.

This charming handmade felt Easter egg has been hand embroidered with silks, lightly padded and hand finished.
It would look lovely on your Easter tree, hanging on a cupboard door or even in a child's bedroom.
This beautiful felt egg would make a lovely Easter gift - a great alternative to chocolate as it would be enjoyed for many years to come!
The egg is approx 8.5 cm long and 6 cm wide and the hanging ribbon is approx 8 cm long.
The embroidery is on one side and a Pink Rhubarb label has been sewn onto the reverse.
