Item details

This tie has been made using the 'European 4 in 1' weave. It consists of approximately 3000 jump rings. The wire used is 0.7mm diameter enamelled copper wire which provides a very durable finish. The neck chain has been made using 1mm diameter enamelled copper wire. The neck chain has been designed with a rubber band to allow for when the wearer sneezes and the neck expands. The rubber band also ensures a snug fit without being over tight. The clasp has been made from the same 1mm diameter wire.

After making several ties with colour I decided that I would like to have something that relied on the design for interest. Thus was born the idea of a black and white tie. I needed a third grade so grey crept in and the result is very pleasing.
