The gelgit is the next step in the pattern process for most multi step marbled patterns.
A stylus is used to draw the paint back and forth along the tray, and the Turkish name 'gelgit' means exactly that!
This variant is when the stylus is only used once, resulting in a pattern often called feather.

Full description
This A4 handmade marbled paper sheet is a slight second. This means that there might be a small air bubble, some colour bleed or another fault affecting a small part of the sheet.
The fault on this sheet is two small air bubbles resulting in two darker coloured spots and faint hesitation line (pictured).
Marbled in purple, cerulean blue, and green, with white veining drawn back and forth to stretch the pattern.
Marbled onto 140gsm FSC white base paper (please see my about section for more details on the papers). The sheet is approx 210mm x 291mm, short grain.
This beautiful handmade sheet is a one of a kind piece suitable for using in bookbinding, covering boxes and other items and card making.
Every one of the sheets I sell are created by me from start to finish and in most cases are one of a kind.
It will be sent flat in a card backed envelope.
Although I have strived for colour accuracy, please be aware that there may be colour differences due to the way monitors display colours.
