Full description
'Magnolia' woodblock print, 2020
This print was created using 3 separate woodblocks to create the 3 colours in the print. Using the traditional Moku Hanga technique to apply watercolour to the block and hand burnish each layer with a baren.
This is an environmentally friendly technique using non-toxic waterbased inks.
Printed on Japanese washi paper ( a thin but very strong printmaking paper)
Print size : 15 x 22.5cm
Paper size : 21 x 30 (A4) Easily available frame size.
Printed in an edition of 100, signed and numbered.
It will be sent flat in a sturdy envelope, wrapped in cellophane with extra card for protection.
